Last week we finally got official details on the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, despite having known almost everything in advance. Now a series of promotional videos are giving a detailed look at the SUV inside, out and in action.
In case you missed it, the G63 AMG uses a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 with 544 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque with the AMG Speed-Shift Plus seven-speed automatic transmission that take it from 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds.
As is the norm with AMG models, large aluminum alloy wheels (20-inches in this case) sit around bigger brakes and vented and cross-drilled discs for both the front and back. Styling cues also become more agressive on the rest of the exterior with a black grille and new front lip with functional air scoops.
AMG also rethought the interior with a branded instrument cluster, shift levers and badges throughout the interior. Owning one will cost €137,504 (roughly $188,557 U.S.). If that’s more than you’re ready to spend, which counts most of us, then have a look at the videos after the break.
