In our recent 2013 Cadillac XTS review, we highlighted some of the features of the American automaker’s newest sedan including the Cadillac User Experience (CUE) telematics system.

Now Cadillac has released a video featuring an in-depth look at the reconfigurable gauge cluster in the new XTS, which allows the driver to customize the instruments on the car for a whole new level of control.

The XTS comes with a 12.3-inch color display with four different themes so that the driver can decide just how much information is displayed. It’s truly an inviting next-generation technology that will undoubtedly find its way into other automaker’s models. BMW recently announced its own version of a customizable instrument panel which will be appearing in the updated 5-Series model.
