Ford will be releasing a free update to current 2010 and newer vehicle owners that will allow them to take advantage of the American automaker’s AppLink system.
So long as the vehicle is equipped with Sync or MyFord touch, owners will be able to update their systems and benefit from AppLink’s integration of apps such as iHeartRadio, NPR, TuneIn and 60 others. Though the American automaker didn’t announce how the update will be done, previous updates were done through a USB flash drive or owners could take their vehicles to a dealership and have it done by service technicians.
