Certain 2015 General Motors SUVs will gain new technologies in the coming months.
According to a recent report, GM will be adding its eight-speed automatic transmission and 360-degree camera system to select SUV models such as the Cadillac Escalade and GMC Yukon. The 360-Degree Vision System utilizes a pair of side-view cameras that work in conjunction with the existing rear-view camera and a new front-view camera mounted in the front grille, resulting in a full 360-degree view.

The camera will first arrive on the Escalade as part of the 2015.5 update that will also integrate Cadillac’s new emblem and a range-topping Platinum model.
Just like the the GM half-ton trucks, it is being reported that the Cadillac Escalade and Yukon Denali equipped with the company’s 6.2-liter V8 will benefit from an eight-speed transmission as well. The 5.3-liter V8 will continue on using the six-speed automatic.
