The LaFerrari supercar is getting a peculiar upgrade.
Ferrari has announced that all LaFerrari exotics will be getting a new fuel tank, which it is calling an upgrade and not a recall. The new unit will be less prone to catching fire but the Italian automaker is saying that there’s no serious safety risk to owners if they choose not to upgrade.

The service campaign will take around eight hours to complete and can be part of the car’s standard servicing schedule. It will be done at no cost to the owner.
