The Lotus Evora 400 is one hot sports car and it looks even hotter in yellow.

Arriving in the U.S. next year with a starting price of $89,900, the Lotus Evora 400 is the most powerful production Lotus ever built boasting 400 horsepower and 302 pound-feet of torque from a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine. The British automaker claims that the Evora 400 has a top speed of 186 mph and a zero-to-60-mph time of 4.1 seconds. Although the Evora 400 looks a lot like the current model, Lotus says that two-thirds of the Evora 400 is new and the car is almost 49 pounds lighter.

Overall length of the Evora 400 has been increased 1.4 inches to a total of 173 inches and is considerably more powerful than the previous model’s 345 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Both a manual or automatic transmission is available on the sports car, with the manual coming standard with a limited-slip differential.

The company is reportedly working on a convertible variant of the Lotus Evora 400 with a pair of carbon fiber roof panels that will weigh just 6.6 lbs a piece. Lotus is also looking to expand its lineup by adding a performance crossover to its lineup as well as a more hardcore version of its 3-Eleven.
