BMW continues its reign as the world’s best selling premium automaker through the month of September, with sales up by 9.3 percent.
BMW says that recent results are merely a small sign of a bigger picture. This year, BMW is projected to deliver more than 1.6 million vehicles across the globe.
BMW subsidiaries Mini and Rolls-Royce are enjoying improving retail performances as well. Thanks in part to the introduction of the Countryman, Mini gained a 20.5 percent increase in sales from last month, selling 76,000 units worldwide since a year ago. Rolls-Royce sales had a whopping year to date surge of 41-percent.
As we anticipate the upcoming BMW 3-Series for 2012, expect BMW’s sales performance to continue its dominance.
