Audi A4 – Review, Specs, Pricing, Features, Videos and More

The Audi A4 is the brand’s sport sedan, sitting above the A3 entry-level sedan and below the A5 and A6 executive sedans. It’s offered in a more powerful S4 trim as well and as an A4 Allroad wagon variant. The A4s are all powered by four-cylinder turbocharged engines, while the S4 uses a six-cylinder motor instead. Audis are well known for their Quattro all-wheel-drive systems, but the A4 is offered with front-wheel-drive as well. These sedans compete with the likes of the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class, but you can also add a few other sport sedans in the mix including the Genesis G70, Lexus IS, and Infiniti Q50.

You should be considering an A4 if the A3 doesn’t have enough space for you or your family. It’s a decent sized sedan that should be able to fit adults or teenagers in the rear seats. If you prefer a sporty driving style, but don’t want to sacrifice a smooth ride or luxurious interior, the A4 would be a perfect fit. The A4 is a four-door sedan but Audi also offers the A4 Allroad, which is a wagon version that is lifted and has some rugged body cladding. It’s a great choice if you don’t want a crossover and want to spring some something a bit different.

The A4 has been around since 1994 when it succeeded the Audi 80, and it uses an evolution of the MLB platform, which underpins a number of Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche vehicles.

The A4 is built in Germany at the Neckarsulm plant, alongside the Audi A5, Audi A6, Audi A7, Audi A8, and Audi R8.
