Nissan Brazil continues to make headlines and generate plenty of controversy with its commercials. In March Ford of Brazil announced it was suing Nissan in the country after the Japanese automaker ran an wherein Ford engineers are portrayed as rappers, living high on the riches generated by overcharging customers. Oh, and there were also some scantily clad models in bikinis just to make sure everyone took notice.

Nissan do Brazil has learned from this, but not the lesson that the folks over at Ford would have hoped. Instead of being scared off by a lawsuit, Nissan has realized that sex sells – even when it comes to minivans.

The latest ad, for the 7-seater Livina minivan, includes a trio of nearly naked models grinding away. No, those aren’t bunny costumes either – but ant costumes. The message seems to be that Nissan’s competitors treat their customers like ants, while the Livina has plenty of room.

Watch the whole ad and you might even spot the family-friendly Livina.
