Along with a slew of wild tuner car concepts, Hyundai unveiled a lone production model at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today.
Called the “RE:MIX” special edition, this Veloster gets a unique body kit, projector headlights with LED accents, LED taillights and foglights. Plus it’s available in a custom Sprint Gray paint scheme. (Graphics optional).
Additional exterior upgrades include 18-inch Dark Alloy Wheels with optional 215/40/ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Inside, upgrades include a leather steering wheel and shift knob, keyless access with a push-button ignition and RE:MIX floor mats plus a 450 watt audio system with an 8-inch subwoofer.
Based on the entry level Veloster (non-turbo) power remains unchanged at 138 hp from the 1.6-liter engine.
The RE:MIX special edition is born out of Hyundai’s RE:MIX Lab, a national tour incorporating everything from art and fashion to technology and design. With concepts built for the tour this vehicle takes their inspiration and brings it to a production car.
Pricing for the Veloster RE:MIX is set at $19,900 for manual transmission and $21,150 for the automatic (plus a $775 freight charge).
