Alpina has released some photos of its B3 Bi-Turbo, which will be officially unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Based on the BMW 3-Series, the modified Alpina B3 variant packs 404 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque from its modified 3.0-liter, twin-turbo engine. The powerplant is mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The rear-wheel drive B3 accelerates to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 190 mph.

Despite all the added performance, Alpina expects the B3 to still get around 30.9 mpg on the US cycle. The extra performance is complemented by a sporty body kit and 20-inch wheels. The suspension is also upgraded with an adaptive sports system, and we expect more details on those modifications when the B3 Bi-Turbo is officially unveiled in Geneva. In the works is an all-wheel drive model, which will be available exclusively as a left-hand drive vehicle.
Only pricing in Germany was announced, starting at 65,500 Euros – around $85,600 USD. The B3 Bi-Turbo is available as a sedan or a wagon in Europe and first deliveries will be in the summer.
