Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that he’ll be driving a Model S across the U.S. in just six days, from Los Angeles to New York City.

Looking to dispel ideas of range anxiety for the automaker’s electric sedan, Musk claims that during the six-day road trip, he’ll spend just nine hours charging the Model S. The details for the trip have been finalized according to the eccentric CEO and will showcase Tesla’s network of Supercharger stations and hoping to prove that the Model S can easily make it from one corner of the country to another.

Doing the math, Musk plans on spending just 1.5 hours a day charging the Model S as it treks around 3,200 miles. It’ll be interesting to see how he pulls it off, considering that Supercharger stations aren’t exactly plentiful in the Midwest.
