Ford will debut 28 custom cars and trucks at the SEMA Show next month and has released three teasers of its wild Mustangs to kick-off the lead-up to the aftermarket expo.
One of the most original examples of automotive customization will be the Hollywood Hot Rods Mustang GT Convertible (above) with a removable aluminum roof that took 250 hours to form. Adding to the look are custom side scoops, skirts, a front splitter and rear diffuser all made of aluminum.
Inspired by supercars, it certainly makes power like one, with a 5.0-liter V8 using a Ford Racing Whipple supercharger and Banks Straight-Shot Water-Methanol injection system to deliver 750 hp.

Ford also partnered with Nitto to build the Mustang Flame with a BASF R-M Onyx Race Red paint job, 3dCarbon body kit and GT500-styled grille. Under the hood is a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a list of Ford Racing upgrades, while power makes it to the ground on Niche Plus wheels and a set of Nitto NT05 Max performance tires.
Finally, there’s the Yellow Jacket Mustang built by Vortech, with an appropriate shade of yellow on the outside and a an important Vortech V-3 Si supercharging system under the hood, letting the 5.0-liter V8 engine deliver 605 hp and 473 lb-ft of torque.
Look for Ford to debut its next set of SEMA cars on Friday, October 18 with a selection of Fiesta and Focus models.
