Mitsubishi is looking to revive its product range, debuting three new concept vehicles at the Tokyo Motor Show in late November.
The concepts, teased in a series of photos, preview a new range of people-movers from the brand, from a large SUV, to a compact crossover and finally a family-friendly MPV.
Up first is the Concept GC-PHEV, previewing a full size SUV with a plug-in hybrid system, designed to deliver efficiency and all-terrain capability. Mitsubishi says the SUV concept will also be a “connected car” and will showcase the brand’s next-gen preventative safety technology and driver technology through wireless connectivity.

A baby brother to the GC-PHEV is the Concept XR-PHEV, previewing a compact crossover with a lightweight plug-in hybrid system that will boast, “dramatically enhanced environmental performance” in a coupe-styled package.
Finally, there’s the Concept AR, which previews a new Multi-purpose Vehicle, combining SUV functionality and increased passenger space. Rather than a hybrid system it will make use of a small direct-injection turbocharged engine.
