With half the horsepower of the Porsche Panamera Turbo, the Alfa Romeo 4C can lap the treacherous Nurburgring in roughly the same time, posting a lap time of 8:04.
The light weight Italian sports car might not have broken the eight minute barrier (like the Porsche can) but it is laying claim to a record for cars with less than 250 hp – even if no one had heard of such a record until now.

Still, it’s quite a feat and is made possible by a carbon fiber chassis, allowing the car to make the very most of a turbocharged 1.75-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers a modest 240 hp.
