According to the managing director of Mazda U.K., the Japanese automaker plans on launching five new models within three years.
With the new Mazda3 already being a hit in various markets worldwide, Mazda looks to build on that success by launching more new products by 2016. First up will likely be a redesigned Mazda2 sub-compact, presumably sporting the same style and design that has made the Mazda3 and Mazda6 popular.

A year after that, the next-generation MX-5 will finally make its long-awaited debut. The new MX-5 will be a joint project with Alfa Romeo. After that, we’ll be seeing replacements for the Mazda5 and CX-5 by 2016 while a new 4×4 will also debut that year.
“Over the next 18 months to two years we will continue our very strong product-led growth,” said Thomson “We’re predicting good times ahead while the rest of the industry is predicted to be relatively flat.”
