BMW X5 M Performance Parts now Available

BMW is offering a host of M Performance parts for the X5 SUV that improve the vehicle’s performance and styling, all of which are now available for purchase.

Carbon fiber add-ons play a major role in the M Performance kit for this car, adorning the mirror caps, front splitter, rear diffuser and rear aero flaps. For looks and improved aerodynamics, a rear spoiler, high-gloss black kidney grilles, rocker panel decals and 21-inch double spoke wheels can also be had.

But the M Performance X5 isn’t just about added exterior bits, it can also be had with upgrades to the powertrain. With the M Performance power kit, the 3.0-liter turbo inline-six gets a 20 hp boost up to 320 hp, and an additional 32 lb-ft of torque, taking the total up to 332 lb-ft. Throttle response is made sharper, while six-piston brake calipers with 19-inch steel rotors are added to increase stopping power.

All of the M Performance parts carry a four-year or 50,000 mile factory warranty, provided that they are installed at a BMW vehicle distribution center before the time of delivery. BMW also ensures that the M Performance parts are fully residualized in a lease from BMW Financial Services.
