Ford has announced what it calls the sportiest Taurus yet: the 2015 Taurus SHO.
For the 2015 model year, Ford has added new colors to the lineup: Bronze Fire, Magnetic and Caribou. New 20-inch wheels are now standard along with SHO-specific sideview mirrors which are heated, have memory functionality and contain downward-facing puddle lamps.
In the rear, the Taurus SHO features a unique decklid-mounted spoiler, while up front a performance-inspired grille in black mesh is fitted along with a fender-mounted scallop that contains a subtle SHO badge.

Making it the sportiest Taurus model is the sedan’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine under the hood, boasting 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. The powerplant is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The SHO also comes with larger brakes than the standard Taurus model and is equipped with Torque Vectoring Control.
