Lamborghini’s current range topping supercar, the Aventador, is about to enter its fourth year on the market in 2015, and the brand is planning a new more powerful SuperVeloce model.
The SuperVeloce philosophy is simple: cut weight and add power. The company’s previous Murcielago SuperVeloce did exactly that, adding an extra 30 horsepower while managing to shed 220 pounds bringing a nice balance to the power-to-weight ratio. Some custom aerodynamics along with a larger rear spoiler are other likely upgrades for this car.
The current Aventador makes 720 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque from a 6.5-liter V12 engine.
The very first Aventador SV model will reportedly go to Team Salamone, according to a post on the teams Facebook page.
