Mercedes-AMG C 63 S (BR 205); 2014

Crammed with cool technology meant to make it faster around a race track, the new Mercedes-AMG C63 S has a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 that makes 503 hp, but you wouldn’t get that from the latest clips of the car in motion.

When Mercedes revealed the new car earlier this week, it was careful to explain that the car isn’t called C63 AMG anymore. Instead it’s the new Mercedes-AMG C63. Nevertheless, the video they published shortly thereafter ignores the new name and apparently what’s under the hood as well. Mercedes released street and race track driving footage, but it’s not the sort of wide-open throttle, tire smoking hooliganism you’ve probably come to expect from AMG. Instead it hardly seems like the car is getting a workout at all. I’d bet there’s something more exciting coming down the pipeline very soon.
