Porsche is preparing a facelift for its two entry-level sports cars and our spy photographers snapped some photos of one of them.
The new Porsche Cayman is getting a new front end that includes a revised bumper, new daytime running lights and new headlights. New taillights are also expected for the car, though this test mule does not feature them. It isn’t a radically different look, but with Porsche, it rarely is.

There is a big change coming under the hood however, the addition of a four-cylinder engine. The motor is expected to be turbocharged and use direct injection to get the most power possible. There is a possibility that the current flat-six that powers both the Cayman and its drop-top sibling the Boxster will be fully replaced by the four-cylinder, but we won’t know until closer to the car’s reveal.
