Ladies and gentlemen, meet the star of the upcoming Gymkhana 7 video.
At the 2014 SEMA Show, Ken Block unveiled his custom 1965 Ford Mustang packing an all-wheel drive powertrain with 845 hp. As if using a classic Mustang wasn’t enough, under the hood is a Roush Yates 6.7-liter V8 with 720 lb-ft of torque brought to all four wheels through a six-speed transmission. According to Block at the vehicle’s unveiling, it’s been under construction for the past two years with ASD Motorsports and RTR.

In order for it to survive the chaos that will likely ensue in Gymkhana 7, the ’65 Mustang features a full tube chassis, ASD Motorsports-designed suspension, roll cage, door bars, three-piece 18i wheels and custom Pirelli Trofeo R tires with a “custom Ken Block compound.”
