The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is quickly becoming a tuner favorite.
With a striking shape and great performance, it’s the perfect blank canvas for aftermarket companies to create automotive master pieces.
Well, that’s goal at least. Some have greater success than others, but when a design really works, the results are worth it. At the 2014 SEMA show, the Corvette Stingray was well represented by aftermarket companies of all shapes and sizes.
The first of many white Corvettes to make this list, the Savini Stingray features a new set of wheels and some aerodynamic add-ons. The front canards almost look at home on the Corvette.
Modified in house by Chevrolet with legendary KISS member Paul Stanley, this Stingray has been transformed inside and out to reflect Stanley’s personal tastes. The bright front grille even looks like some added KISS make-up when contrasted to the red body color paint.
Completely transformed, the Project C7R600 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Widebody is a wild thing to behold in the flesh metal. With massively wide rear tires and aerodynamic add-ons, the C7R600 Stingray looks menacing.
More conservatively upgraded than other vehicles on this list, the Corvette’s simple black and white color scheme are taken a step further with the addition of a set of clean, dark aftermarket wheels.
One of the few convertible Stingrays at the SEMA show, the Defenderworx C7 Stingray features a color match lower skirt package. With a lowered stance and a mesh front grille, this Corvette looks ready to cruise the strip on a hot summer night.
With carbon fiber exterior aerodynamic add-ons, the RK Sport Corvette looks track ready. Larger, wider wheels and a whipple supercharger ensure the RK Corvette will perform as well as it looks.
The Injen Corvette Stingray is not as wild as some of the other vehicles later on this list, but the white and black paint scheme really sets the car off. Tastefully done, the style and performance of this C7 have been elevated.
Like all of the Corvettes in the top three places on this list, the Trufiber Stingray has undergone substation upgrades to the engine, suspension, brakes and aerodynamics. The yellow paint with black accents really make the car noticeable.
This car has had nearly every performance part upgraded, including the addition of a supercharger to the LT1 engine. The exterior has been given a full carbon fibre overhaul and the interior now features a proper racing seat and four-point harness.
Lingenfelter has a long history modifying Corvettes so seeing the LPE C7 at the top of this list doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Upgrades are extensive including carbon fiber parts, aero upgrades, an Edelbrock supercharger and new wheels. Now to convince them to let us take it for a drive.
