Detailed specs on the upcoming Porsche GT3 RS have leaked with good news and bad news for enthusiasts.
First up is the good: the 4.0-liter flat-six (not seen since the 997 Porsche GT3 RS 4.0) will return now making 500 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque.

And now for the bad: there won’t be a manual transmission. Yes, despite rumors that it might be a possibility, it turns out, it won’t. Just like the standard GT3, the new RS model will come exclusively with Porsche’s 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.
But, thankfully, there’s more good. The new RS model will have an even wider body and track than the GT3 with torque vectoring and a specialized real wheel steering setup. It will come with a staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheel setup.
The GT3 RS will go on sale in Europe in March.
