Ferrari is replacing its 458 with a 660-hp turbocharged scalpel.
The Ferrari 488 GTB bowed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show this week, sporting a 3.9-liter turbocharged V8 engine that also has 560 lb-ft of twist to go with the 660 hp. The 488 GTB will be slightly heavier than the 458 Speciale but lighter than the outgoing Italia with a dry weight of about 3,000 lbs.

But to the important bits: The Ferrari 488 GTB will rocket to 128 mph in 8.3 seconds and will be equipped with the Italian automaker’s Side Slip Angle Control software. Ferrari revealed that the 488 GTB was half-a-second faster than the 458 Speciale on its Fiorano test track, running a lap time of 1:23.
