Fiat is testing a pickup truck that looks to be a new addition to the lineup.
The Italian automaker is developing a larger pickup than the existing Strada to compete with the Chevrolet C10, Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux in Europe. Although it is heavily camouflaged, these prototypes do have real bodies and aren’t mules in disguise. At the 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show, Fiat showed off the FCC4 concept and it appears that this might be the first prototype of it in production form.

Naturally now that Fiat owns Ram, it’s a valid question to ask if this truck could surface in the U.S. with a Ram badge, to compete with the Chevy Colorado and Toyota Tacoma. “Certainly we’ve looked at it and we’ll continue to look at opportunities,” Ram CEO Bob Hegbloom recently said in an interview when asked if a new small pickup from Ram was coming to the U.S. market.
