On the eve of its official debut tomorrow at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, another image of the production 2016 Honda Civic Type R has been released.
This image, found on the official Honda of Poland Facebook page gives us a very clear look at the upcoming hot-hatch from the Japanese automaker. It should come as no surprise that this leaked photo looks very similar to the Civic Type R Concept II that we saw at the Paris Motor Show. With its flared fenders and large rear spoiler, this Civic oozes sport appeal.

While official details of the car are on the way, we can expect quite a bit of power coming out from its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Output has been pegged at about 280-hp while the car will also have a 167 mph top speed. If the Concept II is anything to go by, the Type R will also have a very exciting interior, and drivers will have access to a +R button that will activate a mode catered to track use.
We’ll get full details tomorrow from the Geneva Show, but for now this image will have to tide us over.
