Mazda will reveal a new version of the ND MX-5 Miata Club Edition next week.

The Japanese automaker has announced that it will use the 2015 New York Auto Show to unveil the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club Edition, showing off the “most aggressive road-going iteration of Mazda’s fourth-generation flagship roadster.”

The Club Edition of the current generation MX-5 is outfitted with sportier suspension components, a mechanical limited-slip differential, black wheels and an appearance package. Expect a similar treatment to arrive on the all-new Miata when it bows next week in New York.

Despite the fact that it isn’t on sale yet, Mazda has shown off several variants of the 2016 MX-5 Miata including a Cup race car and Accessories Design concept. Don’t be surprised if the official Club Edition roadster takes styling cues from the Accessories Design concept, which sported black BBS wheels and carbon fiber bits.

Compared to its predecessor, the new Miata is approximately 150 lbs lighter and will come standard with a 2.0-liter SkyActiv four-cylinder engine with 155 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque in the U.S.

“Shorter than the first-generation MX-5 that initially graced U.S. shores in 1989, yet wider than the outgoing model and with its engine lower and farther back in its chassis, the 2016 MX-5 is designed to deliver maximum driving enjoyment,” said Mazda in a statement. “The MX-5 Club aims to amplify that experience, harking back to the early lightweight sports cars that inspired it, but serving as a beacon for the future as a thoroughly modern, sophisticated package.”
