Rumor has it that Lamborghini will show off its next ridiculous hypercar at a private event during Monterey Car Week.
Like the Reventon and Veneno, this new hypercar will be produced in extremely limited quantities and will be aggressively styled bumper to bumper. It is being reported that the model will be called HyperVeloce and will produce around 800 hp from a 6.5-liter V12 engine. Unfortunately, the HyperVeloce will also bow behind tightly closed doors at Pebble Beach, where only the most prestigious of Lamborghini collectors gain access, and unfortunately, that’s not us.
While it’s likely that leaks will appear on the Internet, expect the HyperVeloce to make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, where we’ll get an opportunity to check it out in person.

As for what we know about the HyperVeloce, it will reportedly be based on the new Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce and only 20 coupes and 10 roadster models will be built, bringing total production to a scant 30 units. Still, that’s more units than the Veneno’s production run, hinting that the HyperVeloce might not be as expensive as the $4.5-million Veneno.
