Ford might want to check its rearview mirror because the F-150 Raptor might have some serious competition.

Making its debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show is the Nissan Titan Warrior concept, a hardcore off-road version of the new Titan XD pickup. Lifted three inches with 37-inch tall off-road tires, the Titan Warrior concept also features a custom long-travel suspension that includes custom upper and lower control arms with performance ball joints and internal bypass coilover shocks with custom reservoir mounts and tie-rod extensions in the front. Under the hood is a 5.0-liter Cummins V8 diesel engine churning 310 horsepower and 555 pound-feet of torque.

On the outside, the Titan Warrior concept looks the part with flared front and rear fenders, functional hood vents, roof-mounted LED off-road lights, a large front skidplate, custom LED headlights and tail lights as well as a quad-tip exhaust setup.

As a concept, Nissan is gauging interest from potential consumers and it will be interesting if the Ford F-150 Raptor gets some competition from a Japanese automaker. Learn more about the concept pickup by watching AutoGuide.com‘s first look video below.
