Matt LeBlanc will be hosting Top Gear for at least two more years.

The revamped show got off to a rocky start, with viewership dropping and host Chris Evans eventually quitting the show. The BBC has now confirmed that LeBlanc has agreed to a two-series deal and will be joined by Chris Harris and Rory Reid with regular appearances from Eddie Jordan, Sabine Schmitz and, of course, The Stig.

“I am thrilled that Matt LeBlanc is returning to Top Gear,” said Patrick Holland, channel editor at BBC Two. “He’s a huge talent whose love of cars is infectious. I can’t wait for the series to return to BBC Two next year.”

The 24th season of Top Gear will return to BBC Two next year. Hopefully, with familiar faces returning to the show next season, Top Gear can get back on track with its viewers.
