The Vaccar Hyundai Tucson Sport Concept will make its debut at the 2017 SEMA Show later this month.
As usual, Hyundai is looking to make a statement at the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas, and has already previewed several other projects including a custom Elantra Sport and Ioniq. The latest concept announced by the Korean automaker is a Tucson built by Vaccar, featuring a plethora of modifications.
Under the hood, the Tucson gets a Boostec turbocharger and R50 blow-off valve, while an AEM air intake system and charge pipe kit further boosts performance. Up front there’s a massive Mishimoto G-Line intercooler connected Vaccar front-mount piping. Expelling all the exhaust gases is a Vaccar cat-back exhaust connected to Magnaflow Performance mufflers.

The exterior of the Tucson is plenty sporty with a Vaccar front slip, side skirts, rear diffuser, and M&S mesh front grille. The body has been painted blue metallic with partial two-tone silver, while the crossover rides on 20-inch Concept One CF-003SX forged wheels wrapped with Continental ExtremeContact Sport 255/35R20 tires. Stopping performance has also been enhanced thanks to a Vaccar-Power Stop front and rear Z23 Evolution brake kit. Giving it the stance it needs to fit in with the SEMA crowd is a set of Vaccar-Gecko G-Street coilovers.
