The high-performance Jaguar F-Pace SVR is sounding like one proper SUV while testing at the Nurburgring.
Caught on camera by YouTuber Automotive Mike, the F-Pace SVR is rumored to debut at the 2018 New York Auto Show. As the next model from Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division, it is expected to share its powertrain with the F-Type SVR. That means there’s a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 lurking under the hood, producing 567 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque while paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Considering the SUV will be heavier than the F-Type SVR sports car, expect it to have a zero-to-60 mph time in the four-second range.

The heavy camouflage on the prototype suggests there will be a few styling changes for the F-Pace SVR, including larger air intakes on the front bumper, revised side skirts, and a new rear diffuser to house the quad exhaust system.
Like other SVR models, the F-Pace SVR will also benefit from larger brakes, retuned suspension, and a lower ride height.
Sales of the Jaguar F-Pace SVR should commence before the end of next year.
