The 2019 Nissan Murano has been spied testing for the first time, showing off its updated front end and new headlights and taillights.

Not surprisingly, it appears the 2019 Murano will adopt similar styling cues as the new Nissan Altima, which will debut in just a couple weeks’ time at the 2018 New York auto show. These spy photos give us a glimpse of the revised Nissan ‘V-Motion’ grille, which is flanked by some sharp-looking LED headlamps. Out back there are new taillights in place as well, but they are partially covered up by some vinyl camouflage.

As for the interior, we’re expecting an updated infotainment system, likely similar to the one used in the 2018 Nissan Kicks. Some safety tech from the automaker’s ProPilot Assist suite of active system should also be added to the crossover for 2019. We’re not expecting any major engine updates, but maybe Nissan will surprise us.

The 2019 Nissan Murano is expected to make its debut sometime this summer.
