New for 2020: The pricing for the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe has been revealed though not for all trim levels. The Tahoe will start from $50,295 for the base LS trim, the LT from $55,095 while buyers will need $63,895 for the Premier trim, which is $100 less compared to the outgoing model. These prices all include the $1,295 destination charge.
The Tahoe is America’s best-selling full-size SUV, accounting for more than 25 percent of the segment. The 2021 model has been fully redesigned and features substantially more usable space. With a 4.9-inch longer wheelbase and a 6.7-inch increase in overall length compared to the previous model, the new Tahoe offers 40 percent more third-row legroom and 66 percent greater cargo volume behind the third row. The second-row seats also slide fore and aft now, with ten inches of adjustment.
The headline change for the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, though, is a new architecture featuring an independent rear suspension which coupled with a longer wheelbase promise to improve driving dynamics and ride comfort. An optional Air Ride Adaptive Suspension will be available too which works in conjunction with the Magnetic Ride Control to deliver an even plusher ride alongside better handling.
Sharing an overall design similarity with the recently redesigned Silverado, the new Tahoe sports a bluff-faced grille that leads to a traditional profile. Behind that grille lies three engine options, all paired to a ten-speed automatic transmission.
Full lineup pricing has yet to be announced, but the 2021 Tahoe will go on sale in mid-2020 in North America.
