The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a mid-size luxury sedan that is now in its fourth generation. It succeeded the old 190 Series of Mercedes-Benz sedans. The latest generation C-Class sedan, code-named the W205, is Mercedes first car to utilize the modular rear architecture, allowing it to be the starting point for crossovers like the GLC. The platform is supposed to be lighter through the use of aluminum.
Base C-Class models are rear-wheel-drive, while all-wheel-drive is available. All cars feature a nine-speed-automatic, though different models have faster gear changes. The range-topping C 63 models feature hand-built V8 engines that make tons of power.
