Fiat Has Option To Increase Chrysler Stake 70 Percent

Chrysler filed documents with the Security and Exchange Commission that revealed that parent company Fiat has a one year option to increase its stake in the American automaker to as much as 70 percent. Closed Chrysler Dealers File Lawsuits Against U.S. Treasury

When Chrysler went through its unpleasant bout of restructuring in June of 2009, it shut down 789 dealerships in an effort to reduce its dealer network by 25%.
